Tonights Crafty Three!

Ugh, I am a total FAILblogger.
Let's count how many blogs I have in 'draft' form, shall we?!

New Moon Review
Turkey Day with my Fam
Finally Seeing SPRING AWAKENING!!!

and the eventual
1st Official KatOfDiamonds' Hottie McHotHot List.

Yep.
I fail.

BUT

Since I have some major bleh on my mind,
I have taken tonight to craft!

tehehehehe

-1st-
Paper Lollipop Ornament

This pretty lil ornament was made by
the lovely, talented & creative
Linda over at
Craftaholics Anonymous

.........and
below is the 1st one I've made from her tut:

(sorry for the dodgy pic-the phone camera sucks)

I'm gonna keep this first one.
But I quite like it.

I think I might make more as Xmas presents!
=D

NEXT!

-2nd-
Want Need Wear Read List Board

This board was inspired by the beautiful
Erika over at Oops I Craft My Pants {Off}

Anyways,

I chose to cut out the 'wear' because
I don't need anyone in my family
to buy wear-ables for me!

So,

the original cork board was supposed to be
a sorority gift to one of my sisters but
it got warped in storage and I
didn't want to gift out
lookin' wonky.

And,

the above is what happened after a bit of
Mod Podge, hot glue & scrapbook paper
later and
Voilà!

LAST!

-3rd-
Sorority Paddle

So in the world of sororities, or at least mine,
Little Sisters make paddles for their Bigs.
(while Bigs make pillows for their Littles)

But other times people make paddles for fun.

The paddle I am in the midst of
designing/making is for a sister who
wanted to sway A
lumnae paddles.

That also means no more pics until it's done.

=]

Until my next blog-
let us be honest with each other

-who knows when it it will be!

Have I mentioned meeting the Cast of Spring Awakening last night?

..oh, yeah, totally did!

yep.

...and it was epic!

Here are the amazing pictures from last night.

***

Sarah & I drove out to Loveland to carpool down to Denver with Chris.
We did an emergency Target run so Chris could buy a shirt.
He was wearing his Guilty Ones shirt. We weren't.

We found a wall of hats...

...and thus this picture was born!

then
We drove to Denver.
We got distracted and off course.
We parked.
We walked in the 1° weather.
We got to Hard Rock.
We smiled at our contact, Heidi.
We saw the cast members sitting around eating.
We got awkward and nervous.
We said 'hi' to a table of cast members and small talked.
We excused ourselves to eat.
We did an interview for an online TV show.
We ate...

...then finally we grew some balls, grabbed my video camera and Chris' camera and went to MEET&GREET with the cast!

Chris & Sarah with Christy Altomare
[she plays Wendla]

Sarah, Kayla Foster, Taylor Trensch, Chris, Justin Scott Brown
[Kayla is in the Ensemble (aka sits onstage with us and sings!!!),
Taylor plays Moritz,
Justin  is in the Ensemble]

Taylor Trensch, me, Justin Scott Brown

Kayla Foster & me
she is SO much fun!

AND THEN

Sarah got to meet...

...Jake Epstein!

which has only been her dream for awhile!
(think me plus Rob! yeah!)

Jake plays Melchior
He was super fun!
He even beat-boxed with Chris while I sang/rapped to Lady Gaga's 'Christmas Tree'

(don't worry, i've got it on video!)

AND THEN

We all got to meet...

Jenna Ushkowitz from GLEE!

(she Tweeted about going to  be in Denver to visit a friend in the cast!!!)

yep.
last night was epic!

THANK YOU, HEIDI!

THANK YOU
for this amazing opportunity!

 !AND!

 It's not even over yet!

I'm going to see the show for the first time on Sunday!

eeeeeee!

When Being "Guilty" Pays Off

If you have been following blog/twitter/facebook since this post about Spring Awakening, you'd know that spreading awareness about this show has become as much of my day as breathing, eating and sleeping.

Whether it is checking the @springtour blog, Totally Trucked, for a new entry....

...or checking the SPRING AWAKENING, The Guilty Ones-Denver Facebook Fan Page for updates on the show or new posts by my fellow Guilty Ones.

Through out this adventure I have texted, Tweeted, blogged, sang, danced, talked, vlogged, shouted, pranced, posted, pic'd and posed all in honor of my love for this show...

And you'd also know I don't regret a single minute of it!

I love organizing events and running promotions and over the last 2 years I have discovered that this aspect of my life should be apart of my career aspirations.

But enough boring about the future and growing up...

i myself feel very much blessed.

here is why.

i am blessed

to be able to wake and sleep in comfort, heat & shelter

to be able to eat whenever my tummy asks for it

i am blessed

with a family who is ultimately supportive,
no matter how different we each are

to have parents who have my back,
even when I forget that they do

i am blessed

that my brother and I have found a balanced relationship

i don't care if you share it with me,

as much as i'd love to hear it,

Tomorrow I'll actually post
about my Thanksgiving.

24 November 2009

TaylorTot... Am I slowly falling for you!?

It is widely known in the world TwiBubble, that Taylor Lautner was Summits go-to-PR-man/face of Twilight. [Since he is young and eager to please. *cough* thatswhatshesaid *cough*]

And even when NEWS BROKE that you, TaylorTot, were unhappy with just being a piece of hott under-age meat oogled at for your New Moon abs....

...you are still considered the one of the 'Holy Trinity' that is game for anything:

Skip to the last 2mins for AWESOMENESS:

See!? He really is down for anything:

So TaylorTot,

After watching you on Conan, I sent out a Tweet about your jawline...
But it was the fact that you could actually DO IT (catch grapes in your mouth that is) was what I found attractive...

Then I saw the Jimmy video from a LTT post...
In which you are confused at the beginning and get so into it at the end...

Well I got so into watching these snip-its, I ended up tracking down each full interview online...

And I'm beginning to worry that I truly will become a Mrs. Robinson in the future...

You see I have a rule, in my dating realm:
I am 23, therefore, the youngest I can go is 20!

And I only broke this once when I was 20 and he was 16...

...you see!?

I am already a reformed cradle-robber!

And I just can't have you out there rockin' a sweet suit!

or steamy and sexeh in the rain!

So from now on, if ever I feel a swoon coming on...
I shall force myself to look at the following pictures:

Then convince myself that you are still 8 and not 2.5 months from 18!

...

Damn it.
I scrolled back up.

...

Forgive me Father for I have sinned...

Not a New Moon Review [yet!]

Hahaha.
I got the above graphic from a post Twitarted put up.
But it is a warning that this post is entirely about Twilight: New Moon.

Still here? Nice.

At the beginning of November with only 19ish days to go until New Moon, I made my self a promise to stay pure of all Twilight teasers & "leaks" in order to delay gratification...

But then I accidentally opened a tab of the ghetto of the internet world, aka. mySpace and on the front page they where advertising the new Volturi Featurette on the New Moon page.

So as you can imagine it was all downhill from there...
I am a techie geek at heart and I LOVE Behind-The-Scenes goodies!
So after convincing myself it was okay to look at New Moon technical bits, I clicked away. And who would I be if I didn't screen cap most of it!
=]

-SO-

the Volturi coven:

From these caps I feel that the larger the star, the better the screen cap.
I tried, man. I tried. But mySpace time-bar slider thingy is not good for screen capping.

other worthy caps:

The Giver:

[Is it just me or has she lost weight since Twilight]

The Directing DILF:

[o, hai Ash!]

Hottie McHotHot:

*le sigh*

The Reason NM Visually Rocks:

Look up: J.J. Marako on IMDB,
he has worked stunts on over 100 movies!!!

 ...
I only capped this one as proof...

...she always looks pained and angsty.
My Grandma always said something along the lines of:
Don't keep angry face on too long
or it will freeze that way.
k, not exactly that but you get the gist.
I feel that KStew has overdone angst
and now her face is basically frozen that way...

Behind-The-Scenes:

As of yesterday,
I have seen New Moon twice!

I just want to say that the Volturi scene was probably one of my favorite of the whole movie! I was so looking forward to see how the Italy scenes were going to be interpreted and I was not let down!

As far as a New Moon Review...
I want to see it one more time before I say anything.
