And although I haven't posted a Xmas wrap-up,

Mostly,
I have been eying lovelies in my Etsy favorites
and decided to use some of my Xmas $$$
on:

How the Diamond family does Christmas...

This is part 1 of 2.

(Plus you'll get a bonus blog!)

The Diamond family Xmas tradish is:

We do Christmas Eve with one half of the fam.
This being Mum's side.
It used to be at Gramma's house.
Now we rotate who's house since Grampa is gone...

(& since both Grandfathers have passed away,
Daddy's mum comes to Xmas Eve too)

Then GrandmaGrandma stays the night
and in the morning the 5 of us
(mum, daddy, bro, gmagma & me)
do stockings,
then breakfast,
then the rest of our presents... 

& then we watch 3 of all the DVDs that we asked for.
tehehehe

EXCEPT! =(

This year I have to work at 5 back up in my uni town
so I have to leave between 12-1pm
to make it back in time to work
*tear*
no lazy Xmas for me this year...

Want Need Wear Read List Board

This board was inspired by the beautiful
Erika over at Oops I Craft My Pants {Off}

It's BOMB!

Anyways,

I chose to cut out the 'wear' because
I don't need anyone in my family
to buy wear-ables for me!

So,

the original cork board was supposed to be
a sorority gift to one of my sisters but
it got warped in storage and I
didn't want to gift out
lookin' wonky.

And,

the above is what happened after a bit of
Mod Podge, hot glue & scrapbook paper
later and Voilà!

Sorority Paddle

So in the world of sororities, or at least mine,
Little Sisters make paddles for their Bigs.
(while Bigs make pillows for their Littles)

But other times people make paddles for fun.

The paddle I am in the midst of
designing/making is for a sister who
wanted to sway Alumnae paddles.

That also means no more pics until it's done.
