Challenging Myself in 2011

If you read my tumblr or tweets yesterday,
you know I had a pretty shit day.
But that is past.
I want to look forward.
So.

In 2011,
I want to...

 (source)
Be more body positive.
I know saying that I want to lose weight seems
like a hypocritical statement after the one above
but mostly I want to do it right.

Share more.
I want to be more faithful to my blog and YouTube.
It might seem ridiculous, but I collect and collect
pictures and footage and then they just sit on
my computer taking of space and are never
actually shared or published. Lame.

Be creative.
This might sound like a silly one but I want to spend
more of my time being creative. I do spend a lot of time
online and watching TV but I like to  *make* things,
I just tend to forget or get too lazy to actually *do.*

You may have noticed the above^ picture in my sidebar -->
Basically,I have challenged myself to read 50 books
and I'll track my progress here on my blog!

Be happier.
I want to remember to recognize the simple
and smaller beautiful parts of life.
Really appreciate them.

*then there is the silly*
On my blog in 2010,
the Chipotle Count will return
and it will be joined by...
Boba Smoothies.
In December, I discovered Boba.
And basically went
Om nom nom nom!

Comment Q:
Do you have any goals for 2011?

Halloween is my Favorite!!!

Man-o-man-o-man!
I LOVE HALLOWEEN!

Every year I have at least 3 costumes!
[Well it IS my favorite holiday!]
For me this year, I went as Sookie Stackhouse from True Blood!
I even lightened my blonde a little but none of the cameras picked it up.
Wah wah wah.
And even though I don't have my own Eric this year...
I had my own Dawn Green!
It was a 'killer' Saturday night!
And late, late, late Sunday morning! ;o)

As in I got in at 4:30 late!
WAT!
But it was FUN!
(complete with Eric bite's, you like?)

For the kids, I went as a Kitteh Kat.
Even with my welcoming candy sign,
the only lil one we got was a family friend.
Silly privacy fence. Good 364 days out of the year.

For Chipotle, I went as Na.
...one part of Sodium Chloride, aka Table Salt!
It might not be the processed food theme,
but too much ain't healthy!
& I did get my $2 boorito!

What did you do on my favorite holiday?!

$2 Boorito Day: Halloween at Chipotle

Last year I reminded you that Chipotle does free burritos on Halloween to those who dress up and I shared my adventure from that night...

Well this year Chipotle has changed it up.
FREE Booritos are now $2 Booritos - for charity.

On one hand I am a little sad.
I loved dressing up as a burrito to get as many free burritos as possible...
R.I.P. Slutty Burrito Costume

BUT
I am happy to support the cause.
It really is a great charity that they chose to raise money and awareness for:

So,
I am currently brainstorming some processed food costume ideas...
Because you know where I'll be!

Feel free to leave suggestions in the comments!

What are you doing for Halloween?!

11 April 2010

I am MOOOOVING!!!

You might have gotten this from the obnoxious title but...I'm MOVING!

I have been trying to motivate myself to pack over the weekend and as I sit on campus, not at home, you probably can tell how well that is going... Then again, I don't have wireless at my current house anymore and I had a whole weekend of blogs to catch up on (
sorry YouTubers, you'll have to wait) because clearly that is the more responsible choice... Drive to campus to surf the web.

Sure tomorrow night I'll have internet again but still...
I'll be unpacking and decorating my new room...
Then packing and unpacking again Tuesday...
Then any last minute packing and cleaning Wed.

So, I am sad so say,
Internet, I just don't have a lot of time for you this week.

And that goes for my bloggy & TweetTweet friends...
I follow a few people to my phone but I feel like I am missing A LOT!
*tear*

Anywho,
I am getting cold and it is getting dark.
And also I am hungry.

So I am going to go get food and go home and try to motivate myself.

Feel free to txt me (if you have it)
eMail me (if you want my new addy)
and Tweet me, because I'll get to it sooner or later!

>.<
Off to Chipotle!

Challenging Myself in 2010

I randomly found the previous pic while surfing the interwebs.
I find it to be a #truth.
Another #truth is that the isn't only one one-way path.

Maybe this is a morbid way of thinking.
But hey, it is a #truth.

During the same interweb surfing I found this pic:

It reminded me of my blog bee eff eff & her 2010

but also it made me think of my 2010.

I need to change up my life this year.
I need to challenge myself.

So,
I am:

ALSO

It is no secret that I love Chipotle.

I was wicked pissed that they were closed on the New Year.

BUT

I quickly rectified that situation.

SO

I have decided that
on my blog
for this entire year
I will be counting
how many Chipotle burritos
I eat.

YUM!

Halloween with Wednesday Addams

Want a run down of my Halloween?
...
Too bad.
You are getting one!

...hm...

On a Saturday morning I woke up at 9:15am!
Ok, for some that's nuthin'...
But for me that is a miracle!

Friday night, I looked everywhere for my needle so I could sew black fabric onto the white and blue flowered footie thing the doll I got to torture... No where. So I woke up early to run to the craft store and corner store with Momo for some last minute things.

I didn't get the dress sewn in time to put the doll in it but I had already painted creepy stuff in black over parts of the doll and used a stray black shoe lace for a noose... So I left for work like that.

I worked from 2-5 since I was sent home early, but I stuck around until 6 since I was the only 'morning' shifter to dress up=( ...and i wanted to see what some of the night staff thought up.

My favorites were Matt as a jedi/sith and Lauren as Elliot Reed from Scrubs. [There were a few categories for dressing up in costume but we don't know the winners yet.]

When I got home, I went straight to work on making a tin foil butcher knife (for Chipotle) and finishing my creepy doll's dress. It took me right up until we left at 8:30 to put the finishing touches to my costume.

Roommate Momo was Eve in the Garden.
I was Wednesday from the Addams Family.

Together we joked that we were dressed up as two different kinds of evil... It was silly of us but in a way it made sense.

First stop was Chipotle!

Srsly, it's like Trick or Treating for big kids!

We got to Chipotle RIGHT on time.
There was a decent line in front of us...

But by the time we got to the part of the line where I got bored and started to take pictures the line was curling around inside and basically ended at the front counter!

We were so happy with our free burritos, that we forgot to take a picture of our bounty and I was more than half done with mine by the time we got to our first party!

Josh(Mo's friend from class)'s party was really chill and we spent the bulk of our night there... But it was super fun and I think that is why I didn't take many pictures there... Other people did, but I'd feel wrong ripping them off their Facebooks...
Or maybe it's because I just sat at the kitchen table for most of the time I was there and stuffed my face. SO.WORTH.IT!

Around 11pm, we left Josh's for The Boys House.
It is called The Boys House because for at least the last 5 years (probably longer) the majority of the house's roommates are made up of musical theatre majors! The reason the party didn't start until 11 was because nearly everyone invited was performing or watching the performance that night and needed time to go home and switch costumes. Although I knew a lot of people I went for Jared =]
He decorated the place and it looked crazy awesome! But mostly I went because Jared said he was going to do Halloween in drag this year and he has never done drag before...!
Here is the only picture I took:

Obvi he changed his mind.
But I LOVE this pic of us anyways!!!

We only stayed at the Boys until a little past midnight since I only knew a few people, Mo didn't really know anyone, and both of us were super tired (cause we are old and lame)... But it was worth it to go at all because I declare:
Theatre kids have the best costumes!!!

I think I was even asleep by 3am for once!

/I plan on making a video about the Trick-or-Treaters who stopped by, since it was quite interesting, and at times creepy. I'll link it and Tweet it when its up./

I hope you had a super Halloween!
I did.

The Bleh Factor. -oh!- & Chipotle!

I am sorry my dear readers...

I have been suffering from the The Bleh Factor recently.
There is lots I'd blogg about but no motivation to actually do it.

SLOTH is good times. but not really.

...

But ALAS!

There IS something worth fighting Sloth and blogging about!

That's right! Chipotle!

No one should forget about Chipotle on Halloween!!!

That's RIGHT! FREE A BURRITO!

At most Chipotle Restaurants they give out a free burrito to those who come in with a tinfoil costume or a tinfoil accented costume!

One year when I was living in Colorado Springs, we went to 6 out of the 7 locations! 6 free burritos, baby! (from a $6 costume!)

[Yeah, I was a slutty burrito! lolz]

So?!
The point of this whole post!?

Be there or be hungry!!!

You know where I'll be!
