LTT Memorial Day Questionnaire

Today the lovely UC of @letter2twilight posted a fun questionnaire in lou of a "crappy, not thought-out" letter [her words]...

& I am going to answer it here!

Q: How long have been reading LTT:
A: I think around March or April 2009...

Q: When did you read the Twilight books for the 1st time
A: In November of 2007 I read Twilight in 11hours
I got New Moon & Eclipse for Christmas '07 and finished both in 2.5 days
Then I was at the midnight release of Breaking Dawn:
and read it from 12:45am to 8:45am:
and it is tied with Twilight as my fav

Q: Team Edward or Team Jacob
A: Easypeasy... Edward!

Q: Always?
A: Yes. Unless you consider Team ALICE!

Q: How “out” are you about Twi in your “real life?”
A: Completely. More than I really am... People are always coming up to me to talk about the 'latest news' ... you know the stuff I've known for 4-5days already...

Q: Top 5 people in the Twi world you want to meet the most
A:
5.
Kristen - so if she is really a bitch irl, I can punch her.
4.
Ashley Greene - because I want used to want to be BFFs,
but now I want a pic with Alice!
3.
Chris Weitz to rape him pick his brain for directing advice
2.
Robward Pattinson - obvi!
1.
Duh! Stephenie Meyer

Q: What are you reading?
A: The last book I was reading this week was "Kill Your Friends"

Q: Do you have Eclipse Plans?
A: Yes. I will be driving down to south Denver since the cinema complex I work at didn't book it!
[Yeah! They are INSANE for not fighting for it...]

And I have since sent an
email to UC & Moon requesting advice from the LTT community about my plans...

Q: Three sentence bio (tell us where you’re from!)
A: I’m a 23 year old, single from Colorado, USA. I love dolphins, music, musical theatre, cinema, cats, my cat Kona, crafting, Twilight, True Blood, most vampire lore in visual media (which all started with Buffy), anything from the mind of Joss Whedon and a whole bunch of other stuff. Oh, and I write this blog!

Q: Random Twilight Fact (about yourself)
A: Until I saw the Eclipse trailer for the first time on a movie screen this last Saturday, I thought I was over it *gasp*

So yeah! That was fun!
Feel free to answer these questions about yourself in the comments!

The GOLD That is LTT

I for one feel that you can't truly be a fan of something if you can't tease yourself about it.
Especially Twilight.

Having said that...

I have a (mildly one-sided) love affair with LTT
[thats Letters to Twilight & LTR is Letters to Rob, just sayin]

Not only do Moon & UC whip out hilarious letters,
but the community is made of amazingness & comedy gold!

As the LTT/LTR community has grown, many letters are written by readers
 such as CalliopeBlabs and Freya

But as every reader should know knows,
some of the best stuff is left in the comments!

A prime example:
I followed a Tweet
to a letter comment
*I'll pause while you read and re-reed this awsomly speeled lettar.*

& if you think that is the best of the best,
you'd be mistaking because the reply comments had me LOLing irl style!

Donny… I’m sorry you lost your lady, but seriously- you don’t need to take it out on those of us who enjoy the occasional word spelled correctly.
Now go put on a pea coat & Ray-bans and tell your girl you don’t want her to come. She’ll get all worked up and will no longer be lost.

Donny it brakes my hart that you losted your girlfriend.

I agree with UC. Go get some Ray-bans…work your stuff. Get confident. Be “forbidden” and play hard to get.
Heck, read the books. You might be surprised that you like them yourself. Then you two would have something in common and a new role playing game in the bedroom.
This could work for you.

deep fryed head first in a local mcdonalds kitchen?
*sobs uncontrollably*
It will take so long to get the grease out of my hair. :(

Haha.
Robert Pattinson. Setting unrealistic standards for women since 2009.
Sorry, dude.
A garlic tree would be pretty sweet, though.

Perhaps your girlfriend dumped you for reasons other than Twilight. . . like your apparent aversion to spell check or your lack of education. I doubt 90% of the male population was broken up with over their girlfriends love for this series. Of course, if this is the case then maybe you guys should start reading this “rubbish” and take notes on how to be the perfect boyfriend.
P.S. It isn’t the least bit appealing hearing someone say “I hope all you fuckers get deep fryed head first in a local mcdonalds kitchen!”

Well if I’m going to get blasted for the existence of Twilight, I better start seeing some royalty checks, stat.
Mr. Brasco–if that is indeed your real name–I’ve noticed that the kind of guys who lose their women to Twilight are the same kind of guys who think that Applebee’s is an appropriate venue for their anniversary dinner and don’t know what their lover’s favorite flower is. Grow a romantic bone–or better yet, read the books and take some tips from Edward (just not the stalking and breaking & entering). Write her a note that says “Be Safe” when she leaves for a business trip. Give her your mom’s tacky engagement ring. Wear a sleeveless white button down.
Also, I think you are confused: ERIC is the poofter (aka “Gaysian”).

          A-MEN. Thanks, Tiff. :)
It’s not hard being romantic. I don’t know why guys just…can’t get it.
and hey, Donny, instead of being threatened by a fictional vampire who was written by a mormon (awesome) housewife, step up your game a bit. YOU are the obtainable one.
Throw on some glitter and step out into the sunlight.
          xo-me.

& OF COURSE there is always more where that came from...

I guess I am saying is:
If you are a Twilight fan and haven't checked out LTT/LTR yet...
WHY THE HECK NOT?!

Letters To Crushes

So this blog post is entirely Shannon's fault.
& I hate love her for it!

On her blog she posted about some adorable website...

Turns out this site is simply beautiful.

..:Here are a few of my favorites:..
These made me LOL irl and *tear* irl!

The first letter that got me officially hooked:

The one written in code:
Girl,When you first entered my life, you completely mixed up my emotionsto the point where everything felt backwards.I saw miserable before I met you though...thank you so much for turning my life in the opposite direction;I really needed that. I love you and your beautiful mind.I am happy now.Boy

The one that is short, simple but sweet:
[this crush]

The one that was adorably curious:
[this crush]

The one that was irresistibly nerdy & cute:
[this crush]

The one that is a little spicy & a lot spunky:
[this crush]

The one that I feel that I could have written:
[this crush]

The one that I feel that I should have written:
[this crush]
That last one sure is killer!
This won't be the last of these 'Letters'
A 2nd one will probably pop up next time I need a lil romantic pick-me-up...

Tweets Speak Volumes... [February Edition]

...about me as a person.
More than most surveys do:

Watching Criminal Minds reruns per usual... Matthew Gray Gubler & Anton Yelchon!!! I'm in #nerdcrush heaven via txt

I said this today & yesterday too. To myself. #iFate RT @nickithehippie the only thing standing in my way is me. Damnit. via web

I think it may be impossible for me to go anywhere without forgetting something. Ugh
I heart my Tweets.
I don't care how self-centered that is!

ps. Kacey is amazing for letting me borrow her comp while mine is at the computer doctor, aka Geek Squad!
I'll be catching up on a TON of blogs next week...
